About this CIPP/US study guide
Hi, I am Victor Humenhuk. I wrote these notes and practice questions while preparing for my own IAPP exams, and I passed all three. This is the same material, tidied up so you can study the same way.
Why I made this
When I sat the exams I did not want to re-read hundreds of pages the night before. I wanted the material compressed into what the exam actually tests, learned through active recall, spaced retrieval and the exact wording the questions like to reuse. So I wrote my own notes, drilled myself with practice questions and kept refining what worked.
The lessons are free. The practice question bank is a one-time purchase, and that is what keeps the project running.
Who I am
I hold the CIPP/E, CIPP/US and AIGP certifications from the IAPP, the PMP from PMI and the CAMS from ACAMS. I have an LLM in International Commercial and Technology Law from the University of Manchester and completed the AI Ethics, Regulation and Compliance Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford. I work in risk and compliance and founded TimeToTest, a UK community interest company.
In short, these notes come from someone who has sat these exams and works in privacy and AI governance for a living.
How the material is prepared
I review every public lesson and question explanation. The guide compares exam coverage with the current published certification pages and checks legal claims against primary sources where those sources are available. Law, guidance and exam formats change, so each lesson shows its review date.
